Bio
Dr. Ajay Wagh graduated from University of Tennessee College of Medicine at Memphis in 2007 before completing a residency in Internal Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA from 2007 to 2010. He then completed a fellowship in Pulmonary Sciences and Critical Care Medicine at University of Colorado from 2010 to 2013.
Dr. Wagh has one office in Tennessee where he specializes in Pulmonary Critical Care and Internal Medicine.

Pulmonary Critical Care
Critical care pulmonologists are trained in two closely-related areas of medicine: pulmonology & critical care. Dr. Wagh treats patients suffering from life-threatening pulmonary disorders and diseases. These may include emphysema, pneumonia, lung cancer or COPD. As a critical care specialist, Dr. Wagh is also trained to stabilize patients who are in critical condition and require mechanical ventilation.

The specialty of internal medicine is an area of primary care for adults. Dr. Wagh specializes in diagnosing and treating cross-system illnesses that may affect multiple organ systems. When necessary, Dr. Wagh also can refer patients to specialists.
