Dr. Wagh has one office in Tennessee where he specializes in Pulmonary Critical Care and Internal Medicine.
Critical care pulmonologists are trained in two closely-related areas of medicine: pulmonology & critical care. Dr. Wagh treats patients suffering from life-threatening pulmonary disorders and diseases. These may include emphysema, pneumonia, lung cancer or COPD. As a critical care specialist, Dr. Wagh is also trained to stabilize patients who are in critical condition and require mechanical ventilation.
The specialty of internal medicine is an area of primary care for adults. Dr. Wagh specializes in diagnosing and treating cross-system illnesses that may affect multiple organ systems. When necessary, Dr. Wagh also can refer patients to specialists. For example, patients with serious gastrointestinal issues may be referred to a gastroenterologist for additional diagnostic tests or treatment options.
