Dr. Adrian Casillas is board certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. He completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship and research in allergy and immunology at the UCLA School of Medicine. He served on the faculty as Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at UCLA followed by academic positions at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center and Baylor College of Medicine. He has served as a training program director for fellowship clinical training in allergy and immunology at UCLA and LSU and was Chief of Clinical Immunology Services at Baylor. He decided to move back home to El Paso in 2015. He currently holds a clinical appointment at the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center. He has expertise in several areas of clinical immunology and allergy disorders including allergic rhinitis, asthma, drug and food allergy as well as immunodeficiency states.
