The ExpresS Lift

The procedure has been dubbed the ExpresS Lift because of the relatively short recovery time required, when compared to the more well-known surgical facelift.
The ExpresS Lift is designed to decrease the most noticeable signs of aging. Over time the sun, age, and gravity all reduce the elasticity and firmness of the skin, and contribute to the formation of lines and wrinkles. The ExpresS Lift is designed to restore the youthful contours of the lower face and neck.
The incisions for the ExpresS Facelift are much shorter than the ones used for a traditional facelift, and the procedure is done under local anesthesia. This is particularly beneficial, as there is less bleeding during the operation and post-procedural bruising and swelling is minimized.
About the procedure
After anesthesia is administered, a small incision is made at the front of the ears. The sagging fascia layer below the skin is lifted in a vertical direction and then repositioned. Excess fat and skin is also removed, so as to achieve a more youthful facial appearance.
The recovery time with the Express Lift is much shorter than with the traditional facelift, because the technique used minimizes bruising and swelling.
The ExpresS Lift normally takes 3-4 hours to perform.

Are you a good candidate?

What to expect
There is generally some swelling and bruising after the procedure, but this generally resolves quickly. Most people feel well enough to return to work within 3-4 days. Some improvement can be seen within a few days of the procedure, but full results can take 3-4 weeks.
