Dr. Matarese has been my orthopedic surgeon for over 25 years and has performed (3) surgeries on me and (2) on my wife. We both have been more than happy with not only the surgeries but with all the advice, attention and professional care before and after the operations. Dr. Matarese operated on my left hand for carpal tunnel and I have not had one ounce of pain since. Dr. Matarese performed carpal tunnel surgeries on both of my wife’s hands which eliminated all her pain. Dr. Matarese did total hip replacement on my left hip which was so bad I couldn’t walk and after 2 days in rehabilitation I was walking without assistance. I was told by the staff that not many people could do that after hip surgery, and I attribute that success to Dr Materese. I had my right hip done (3) years later by Dr. Matarese with the same outcome. I walk perfect without any trace of pain. I think Dr. Matarese is the best orthopedic surgeon not only in Wayne but in the state of New Jersey. If you want hands on care and want worry free stress from a surgery then this is the doctor who can give you that peace of mind.
