Dr. Rathod is a breath of fresh air! Her medical practices are the way of the future. Using a systems approach, each patient is treated individually, in depth, and with compassion. We do not have to buy into the notion of 'this happens as you age'. Preventive medicine can help everyone live their best life possible. I once again feel energetic, healthy and no longer have daily aches and pains. She is wonderful!

My appointment with Dr. Rathod has given me hope that my hypothyroid symptoms can be treated and I can get my former good health back. She took plenty of time, answered all my questions, and taught me some new things. I no longer feel as if I have to study my illness and push my doctor to do what I need--Dr. Rathod understands what I need.

Dr. Varsha Rathod works with her patients to bridge the chasm between traditional and holistic medicine, customizing their health plans and goals to match their unique environment, social and genetic backgrounds. She is an expert in the functional medicine approach which involves analyzing individual risk factors for illness and the root cause of disease, as well as developing results oriented prevention and treatment programs.
With a passion for cooking, culinary gardening, and meditation, she inspires patients to aim for vibrancy in their lives by embracing a healthy lifestyle.
Varsha received her medical degree from Kilpauk Medical College in India, followed by a residency in Internal Medicine at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a fellowship in Rheumatology at Washington University. Varsha is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and Rheumatology, and the Institute of Functional Medicine.
