He is easy to get along with. Very knowledgeable. I like that he explains all the potential side effects of the meds and gives me options. He also does extra stuff like the genetic saliva test to find the right medication for you

Dr. Varma did his initial medical training in India and followed that up with a fellowship in Mood Disorders from the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver, Canada. He did his American psychiatry residency at the University of Texas, Houston (UTH).He has admitting privileges at Fairview Southdale in Edina, MN, Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN and Mercy Hospital, Coon Rapids, MN. He sees adults as well as children, adolescents and geriatric populations and patients from various cultural backgrounds and he accepts all insurances.
