back in 1974 when I was 4 years old my mom and dad and myself were stationed at NAS Whidbey Island . I was all of a sudden started to get sick . mom took me out to the naval hospital and found a situation going on with my heart. I was referred to at the time was "Children's Orthopedic Hospital and Medical center". That is when I met Dr. Stamm He was very gentle and very careing . He found that I had a Ventricular -Septal defect . Dr. Stamm along with DR. peter Mannsfeild performed my open heart surgery. I will be 48 this year and am eternally greatfull he improved my quality of life. I see dr. Oliver now up at Saint Joseph in Bellingham every year for followups but I will always be thankfull to dr stamm. thank you sincerely, Robert Nord jr
