Bio
Dr. David Ekmark is board certified in family medicine physician. Born and raised in South Texas, he first served in the US Army as a combat medic at Ft.Sam Houston, TX. After completing his military career, Dr. Ekmark graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX. Thereafter, he earned his Medical Doctorate from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and completed his residency in Family Medicine at Reading Hospital in West Reading, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Ekmark is a strong advocate for his patients, and delivers non-judgmental, compassionate care to all ages with a variety of medical conditions, all the while protecting his patients’ dignity and privacy.
