About Dr. Yager
Dr. Yager

Bio

A native of New York City, Dr. Yager has lived in northern New England since 1980.  He earned his bachelor's degree at Haverford College, a Quaker liberal arts school regularly rated among the top small colleges in the country.  He earned his medical degree at Yale University and completed a Family Medicine residency at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, ME.

At EMMC he became interested in the treatment of addictions, and for several years after settling in New Hampshire, he was co-medical director of the Substance Abuse unit at Concord Hospital.  At the same time, he provided a "full spectrum" family practice (including obstetrics, office gynecology, well-child care, and general adult and pediatric medicine.)  Since 2000, he has worked with Dr. Raymond King at King Medical Associates, limiting his practice to older adolescents and adults.

Dr. Yager treats both acute and chronic conditions as a primary care specialist.  Acute problems include respiratory infections, joint sprains, muscle strains, and urinary infections among many others.  Chronic conditions include high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, substance abuse and dependence, heart disease, etc.

Most insurances are accepted, and we try to see our established patients with a minimum of delay.
