Dr. Sheppard, Jr. is by far the BEST surgeon I have ever met. I have had two surgeries in the past 5 years. For the first, he was recommended to me. For the second, I chose him because of my experience the first time. He is not only great mechanically, but has a bedside manner that most doctors don't possess. Most importantly, he took the time to pray with me before both surgeries. This is almost unheard of these days. I felt such a peace going into the OR after that! I highly recommend him!
