Absolutely the best! In 1 week Dr. McDonough corrected a condition I had suffered with for 6 months and one other Dr. did not correctly treat. Great staff, and he took the time to carefully evaluate and prescribe the correct treatment. Also, he followed up personally to make sure I was on the road to recovery; I am 61 and that has NEVER happened before. If you are tired of being treated like a number, this guy is for you!

Bio
Dr. McDonough was raised in New Jersey on the “Jersey Shore” and attended college at Cornell University before completing medical school at New Jersey Medical School. After meeting his future wife, a Plano native, Dr. McDonough moved to Texas where he completed his internship and residency training at the UT Southwestern Medical Center.
Dr. McDonough has extensive experience with patients with complex medical problems, connective tissue diseases like lupus and sarcoid, psoriasis, drug reactions, acne, rosacea, eczema, hair loss, warts, and skin cancer, including patients at high risk of skin cancer due to immunosuppression, organ transplantation, and individuals who have just lived all their life in the Texas sun!
Dr. McDonough completed his internship and Dermatology residency at the renowned UT Southwestern Medical Center. During residency training, Dr. McDonough was honored to be selected chief Dermatology resident at the Dallas VA Medical Center and to receive the 2016 Cognitive Excellence and 2016 Star Clinician awards. He has continued his passion for education by accepting a position as Clinical Assistant Professor at UT Southwestern where he will help to train future Dermatologists.
