Dr. Jamdar is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine. After graduation from Rutgers College and St. Georges University School of Medicine, he completed his Internal Medicine Residency at St Lukes-Roosevelt Hospital, NY and his geriatric fellowship at Beth Israel Medical Center, NY. After fellowship, he initally worked in both private practice and in urgent care as a community physician in Hackettstown, NJ. He later moved to Richmond Virginia where he joined and became a full partner in a Diabetes, Endocrine and Internal Medicine practice. He has over 10 years of clinical experience following training.
Dr. Jamdar's interest include the treatment of diabetes and hypertension. He also enjoys caring for the elderly, specifically Alzheimers care and reducing medication burden. He has the strong reputation of listening to his patients and understanding their needs.
