Dr. Neil MacIntyre graduated from Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University in 1972 before completing a residency in Internal Medicine at Cornell-New York Hospital from 1973 to 1975. He then completed a fellowship in Pulmonary at University of California–San Franci from 1978 to 1981.
