Recommends Available On Time Friendly Professional Knowledgeable Nice Office Understandable Reachable Helpful StaffI just had a total hip replacement done February 16 by Dr. Wittles. He is an excellent Dr. It is now APRIL 5th, and my incision is completely healed. The scar is hardly noticeable to me and is 17 inches. I was told by another Dr. At Mt Sinai that they use a nerve block now, and I hardly had any pain at all. The hip ached a bit from time to time, but that's all. The surgery went very smoothly. I stayed in rehab for two weeks after 5 days at Mt Sinai since I had no one to take care of me at home. It was great.I've been up walking since the first day. No nausea after anesthetic. As a matter of fact I ate a full plate of food that first day. Dr. Wittles is a wonderful, kind and caring doctor.
