I have an MS degree in Pharmacology from New York Medical College and a medical degree (MD) from New York University School of Medicine. I received advanced training in Pediatric Psychiatry and Psychopharmacology from UCLA-Neuropsychiatric Institute. Prior to coming to the Bay Area, I was a clinical professor at the Child Development Center at UC-Irvine where I was involved in research in disruptive behavioral disorders in children and adolescents. For the last twelve years I have been teaching pediatric psychiatry at UC-Berkeley Extension and am adjunct faculty at Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine (TUCOM). I see children, adolescents as well as adults.
With my wife, we co-authored several educational children books. “The Reading Lesson” is the second best-selling children’s book in its category in the United States and No. 1 best-seller in England.
