Dr. M Miles Goldsmith graduated from University of North Carolina School of Medicine at Chapel Hill in 1982 before completing a residency in ENT / Otolaryngology at University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC from 1984 to 1987. He then completed a fellowship in Georgia Ear Institute at Neurotology from 1993 to 1995.
