Recommends Available On Time Friendly Professional Knowledgeable Nice Office Understandable Reachable Helpful StaffDr. Zackrison has been treating me since 2005, when I was referred to her for Fibromyalgia. She recognized symptoms of a chronic Lyme Disease condition that had begun in 1981. She treats the whole body not just symptoms. Her recommended lengthy protocol that employed cutting-edge holistic care was successful for me. I now live in NC & maintain 6-month check-ups with her. My experience is that Dr. Zackrison & her nurse practitioners are very caring & dedicated to the total wellness of each patient.

Rheumatologists are specialized physicians who treat arthritis and other rheumatic diseases—those that affect the muscles, joints and bones. Dr. Zackrison can diagnose and treat highly complex conditions, including those that affect other organs and systems like the brain, kidneys, blood vessels or lungs. Conditions treated may include rheumatoid arthritis, gout, lupus, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis and fibromyalgia, among many others.
The specialty of internal medicine is an area of primary care for adults. Dr. Zackrison specializes in diagnosing and treating cross-system illnesses that may affect multiple organ systems. When necessary, Dr. Zackrison also can refer patients to specialists. For example, patients with serious gastrointestinal issues may be referred to a gastroenterologist for additional diagnostic tests or treatment options.
