Dr. Hummer diagnosed me with Grave's disease. She put me on a really high dose of Methimazole. After taking it 2 weeks, I started having extreme joint and muscle pain. I called her office several times to be seen again, but I was unable to actually speak to a person or get an appointment. I stopped taking the medication, but the pain persisted for over 2 weeks. I did a lot of research and found that I had been given way too much Methimazole. I had been overdosed. Also, she was supposed to mail me a lab request to have my blood checked weekly. I never got one. I called and someone was supposed to send one. I never got it.
