On TimeI would not recommend Dr. Fontenot as an understanding Endocrinologist. I went to him with a list of symptoms so he could evaluate me for possible Hashimotos per my rheumatologist because I also have RA. Not only did he not listen to all of my symptoms he said if your THS labs are normal then your thyroid is normal. He treats lab results only and I know that some autoimmune diseases do not show up on lab work. He was very dismissive, did not even feel my neck area, and told me I probably had sleep apnea all before any lab work was done, also told me I was obese and could not just give me a weight loss pill. I never mentioned weight, my complaint was extreme fatigue unrelated to my RA along with other symptoms he didn\'t listen to me about.
