Dr. John Kohler graduated from University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in 1976 before completing a residency in General Surgery at University of Chicago Hospitals and Clinics in Chicago, IL from 1976 to 1981. He then completed a fellowship in Cardiothoracic Vascular Surgery at University of Illinois, School of Medicine at Chicago from 1981 to 1984.
