Dr. DeOrio treated me via surgery for a badly torn (right) Achilles' tendon. I was unable to walk, and lost all control of my right foot. Dr. DeOrio came highly recommended from others in Duke's Sports Medicine Clinic. After surgery, I followed every aspect of Dr. DeOrio's protocol. As a result, I realized every positive outcome of recovery at just about the time each was predicted to occur....including, but not limited to, increasing movement, reduced pain, and strength gain. I could not have asked for better care, or more accessibility....in clinic, and via DukeMyChart notes/messages....including some (dry) humor along the way.
