Long story short (see other common review sites for complete details) I had a blood clot and the doctor's staff refused to give me a same day appointment. I went to another provider, the confirmed clot suspicion, and contacted Dr.Bermudez to get orders for ultrasound. After she issued the orders her nurse called insisting that I come in immediately (it was towards closing time) and be seen or the orders for the test would be cancelled. Odd that all of a sudden there was time to see me when I was told initially I would have to wait a day. I objected, refused, and got orders for ultrasound elsewhere. I got a letter for Dr. Bermudez terminating me as a patient, saying that I was disrespectful of staff. I gave them all the respect their treatment of me and their apparent competence deserved, in my opinion. Nice to know that this doctor will not tolerate discussion or disagreement.
