Dr. Hernan Goldsztein is Board Certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery with a special interest in Otology, Neurotology and Skull Base Surgery. Dr. Goldsztein provides both medical and surgical care for a full spectrum of acute and chronic ear diseases, hearing problems, and balance related disorders. He is fluent in English and Spanish and provides service to both adult and pediatric patients.
A native of Argentina, Dr. Goldsztein graduated magna cum laude from medical school at the University of Buenos Aires and completed research fellowships at Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. His residency training in Otorhinolaryngology at the University of Maryland was followed by a clinical and surgical fellowship in Otology & Neurotology at the California Ear Institute. Giving back plays a central role in his philosophy of life.
During his training, Dr. Goldsztein provided medical care to patients in need in Cambodia and Peru. These services earned him the nomination to the Dean’s Community Service Award at Harvard Medical School, the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Resident Humanitarian Travel Grant in 2009 and the Resident Leadership Grant in 2010 & 2012. He currently works with local and international humanitarian associations and also serves on the American Academy of Otolaryngology’s Panamerican Society.
