Dr. Hagos has the vital characteristics that I've found missing in pain doctors which I've unfortunately encountered, and those characteristics are: PATIENCE and EMPATHY! Dr. Hagos has successfully switched my chronic pain treatment of Oxycontin and Percocet to a milder opiod and Gabapentin, which produced the same effective removal of pain *and* with less harm on my kidneys than the aforementioned opiods. Which should say enough about his expertise. But at the end of the day, it isn't only his knowledge of pain treatment and medicine that leads me to admire this doctor, but his patience and his empathy -- two qualities that are missing, unfortunately, in too many private practitioners. In fact, just recently I had just dropped a psychological therapist, mostly because she lacked these qualities, and just in my appointment today, I had a more insightful and meaningful conversation toward my health than I ever had in the few sessions with that therapist. And that's because he had those two qualities that my former therapist doesn't: patience and empathy. So if you're serious about treating your pain, and if you're will to accept the care and advice of a very knowledgeable, caring and professional pain specialist, Dr. Haddis Hagos is your man.
