I was drawn to orthopaedic surgery as a specialty because it gives me an opportunity to help patients eliminate pain from injuries and degenerative conditions and to help restore their mobility and function. I believe that there is an inner athlete in all of us, whether you are a varsity basketball player or a grandmother who enjoys long morning walks.

Orthopedic Surgery
As an orthopedic surgeon in Connecticut, Dr. Cambria is qualified to identify and treat trauma to your musculoskeletal system, including the joints, muscles, bones, tendons, and ligaments. After reaching a specific medical diagnosis, Dr. Cambria will generally turn to surgery when all your other treatment options are already exhausted or eliminated. Patients may require the care and attention of an orthopedic surgeon for fractures, torn ligaments, sprains, sports injuries, and more.

Sports Medicine
Sports medicine physicians are trained to provide treatment and prevention plans for those participating in sports and related physical activities.
