Dr. Erin Riggle graduated from Drexel University College of Medicine in 2003 before completing a residency in Internal Medicine at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University in 2006. She then completed a fellowship in Pulmonary Critical Care at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University in 2009.
Dr. Riggle has two offices in Colorado where she specializes in Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep Medicine.

Critical care pulmonologists are trained in two closely-related areas of medicine: pulmonology & critical care. Dr. Riggle treats patients suffering from life-threatening pulmonary disorders and diseases. These may include emphysema, pneumonia, lung cancer or COPD. As a critical care specialist, Dr. Riggle is also trained to stabilize patients who are in critical condition and require mechanical ventilation.
Sleep medicine specialists diagnose and treat various disorders and diseases relating to sleep. This can include a range of conditions including insomnia, sleep apnea, restless leg syndrome, narcolepsy, nightmares and others. Dr. Riggle utilizes a variety of diagnostic tools including screening devices, overnight sleep studies or oximeters, among many others. Treatments can include CPAP therapy, implantation of sleep devices, counseling, lifestyle modifications, and others aimed at eliminating or alleviating the symptoms of sleep conditions.
