Dr.Freeland is a pleasant, caring doctor who performed a sesamoidectomy on my foot 6 weeks ago and did a phenomenal job. The incision was clean and has healed beautifully. I went to two other surgeons, who had more experience then Dr. Freeland, before choosing him to perform the surgery. Even though doctor Freeland admitted he had only performed this surgery one other time as a doctor, I chose Dr. Freeland because he had an understanding and was compassionate about my other health conditions, had a great bedside manner, and was more knowledgeable about new surgical techniques then the other doctors. Post-op Dr. Freeland has been just as helpful. He spends as much time needed during each visit to thoroughly answer questions and alleviate concerns. Since my visits began, he has gone on vacation twice. Each time prior to vacation he made sure I was aware of the dates he would be gone, but stated, "If you need to speak with me about anything, I'm still available just call and I will get back to you." Having surgery is an extremely difficult experience, but having Dr. Freeland by my side has made it much easier. If you are struggling to choose a surgeon or to have surgery, you're in good hands with Dr. Freeland.
