Dr. David Van Mater graduated from University of Michigan Medical School in 2006 before completing a residency in Pediatrics at C.S. Mott Children's Hospital/University of Michigan from 2006 to 2009. He then completed a fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Duke University Medical Center from 2009 to 2013.
