Nice OfficeDr. Katz is the first genuinely rude physician I've encountered. He is very abrupt and argumentative, and has the worst bedside manner. He refused to remove 2 lipomas from my leg because he had removed 3 others in the past 6 years and believed they were chronic. Understandable. He came in, told me "I'm not your guy", then gave me a condescending speech, insinuating that having surgeons cut me to remove lipomas was either some kind of fetish, or I just lacked the mental capacity to understand his medical opinion. I told him I was fine with him refusing to treat me, and hoped that he understood the statistical probability wherein by refusing to excise tumors from future patients, eventually one of them will be malignant. He told me "I keep my own counsel", took one final jab at my intelligence, and showed me the door. I will never go back to Surgical Associates of Milford again for any reason. And to top it off, they insisted on billing me for the visit. A $45 copay and my insurance will likely pay hundreds of dollars for nothing but 5 minutes of pure condescension. Not understandable.
