Made an appointment with Dr. Matanky because the other orthopedic doctor in town wasn't taking new patients. I didn't want to see a PA with a new issue. Scheduled an appointment a month away and was told an X-Ray was needed prior to appointment or the doctor wouldn't see me. Never heard of an orthopedic doctor with no X-ray equipment but did the X-ray three weeks prior to the appointment. I was called on Thursday to say that my appointment was being rescheduled from Friday to Wednesday because the doctor had surgery. Arrived at 3:00, as instructed, for a 3:30 appointment. At 4:45 my husband who was waiting for me inquired as to whether they were doing experimental drugs on me (trying to have a sense of humor) for the long wait. So, finally some one came into the room to say they were having problems bringing up my X-rays. FINALLY I was seen by a PA and another PA , in training. My issues was presumed to be "we assume", "we think" "therapy could help", "maybe a cordizone shot may help". I knew all of this. The reason for my doctor's appointment was to determine not assume or presume. I would not go back to this doctor's office.
