I had hip replacement surgery with Dr. Emmerson and was walking without a walker in 5 days. It was almost painless; I didn't take any pain meds after I left the hospital. I have resumed all of my activies including horseback riding after three months. My experience was so impressive that a friend and family member have scheduled surgery with him.
