Recommends Available On Time Friendly Professional Knowledgeable Nice Office Understandable Reachable Helpful StaffDr Wintman has performed several surgeries on both my hands over the past three years. He guides and suggests treatment but does not force you to use a particular treatment. He provides the information you need to make a personal decision. Both the doctor and his staff are polite, patient, friendly and knowledgeable. I have never spent more than ten minutes waiting in the waiting room or treatment room, all of which are clean and bright. I would return for any other procedures I might need and highly recommend both Dr Wintman and The Hand Center to anyone who may need treatment for hand or upper extremity concerns.
Dr. Bruce Wintman graduated from Harvard Medical School.

A hand surgeon in Connecticut, Dr. Wintman cares for injuries and complications of the hand, fingers, wrist, forearm, elbow and shoulder. Dr. Wintman is specifically trained to diagnose each patient and determine whether or not surgical intervention is medically necessary, as surgery is usually seen as a last resort when other treatment methods have been exhausted. As a result, treatment can be surgical or non-surgical in nature.
As an orthopedic surgeon in Connecticut, Dr. Wintman is trained to detect and treat all forms of damage to the musculoskeletal system, including the tendons, ligaments, joints, bones, and muscles.
