Dr. Shirley did a much needed knee replacement for me. After 3 years of excruciating pain, I was walking with no pain or limp in 2 weeks. It has been approximately 90 days and I could not be more satisfied. He and his entire staff are excellent. If surgery can be a pleasant experience, that is how I feel.

Dr. Shirley specializes in hip and knee replacement surgery. The only surgeon in the state performing adult pelvic osteotomies for hip dysplasia, he also performs other unique procedures for hip disorders. Dr. Shirley received a degree in biology from the University of North Carolina and his doctorate in medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina. He completed a residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at GHS and a fellowship in Hip and Knee Replacement Surgery at the University of Utah.
