Knowledgeable UnderstandableDr. Beaver was professional and did a good job of explaining my mom's condition to her and helping her to understand. His staff, however, was rude and unprofessional. I arrived separately to the appointment and asked the receptionist to let me join my mom in the treatment room. The appointment had already commenced by a few minutes. The receptionist literally rolled her eyes and said "let me go check." She never returned to let me know any additional information. I waited another 10 minutes before going back up to the window and asking if they had forgotten. She angrily told me she would check. When the nurse came out to get me, she was obviously told something negative, as evidenced by her curt attitude toward me. She informed me that she was in the middle of a test and could not be interrupted and that was why I had to wait. Had I known this I would have understood and would have waited patiently. A little communication goes a long way. Was treated as though I was a nuisance and an inconvenience in the care of my mother, who depends on me as her caregiver. Dr. Beaver would be wise to employ friendlier, more professional staff.
