Dr. Arshad Ali is a board certified Interventional Cardiologist with additional board certifications in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. He is also a Member of the Royal College of Physicians. Prior to joining El Paso Heart Center and the El Paso medical community, Dr. Ali worked as an interventional cardiologist and Associate Medical Director and Medical Director at several medical institutions in Nebraska, Kentucky and Pennsylvania. In addition, Dr. Ali was Director of Cardiovascular Research and Interventional Cardiology Research at St. John Hospital and Guthrie Clinic respectively.
Dr. Ali has spent a majority of his medical career focused on quality care for patients at each medical institution with which he has been affiliated, having held positions on Quality Assurance Committees since 1999.
As an interventional cardiologist, Dr. Ali provides minimally invasive diagnostic and treatment services for conditions affecting the heart and cardiovascular system. This may include the diagnosis and treatment of enlarged heart muscles and vascular blockages, chronic or unstable angina, and congestive heart failure.
