I am Founder of Advanced Cardiovascular Care Center and Chairman of American Heart Association Go Red For Women Initiative 2015. I attended the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta, Georgia and subsequently completed my residency in Internal Medicine as well as Fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston. I pursued further training in Interventional Cardiology at The Texas Heart Institute/Baylor College of Medicine and now have been in my three different practices in the Northwest Houston and the Woodlands area for the past 20 years.As the founder of Advanced Cardiovascular Care Center my mission is to provide the highest standard of excellence in Cardiovascular Care while exemplifying my ideals of customized patient care. My goal is that of achieving superior patient satisfaction in every aspect of services I give. I perceive my organization as a team working towards one common goal, that of our patients’ good health and well being
Dr. Varughese is a cardiologist in The Woodlands, trained to provide comprehensive care for the heart and cardiovascular system in patients. Dr. Varughese may see patients for symptoms like shortness of breath, chest pains or dizziness, among others. Heart conditions that may be diagnosed and treated by a cardiologist may include rheumatic heart disease, congenital heart defects, coronary artery disease, heart failure, heart aneurysms, angina and arrhythmia, among others.
