Andrew Stein fixed my cubital tunnel syndrome. He, his Physician Assistant Jennifer Schofield, and his office staff are very friendly and easy to work with. I developed symptoms of left cubital tunnel syndrome in 2011. The symptoms were misdiagnosed by a general practitioner. When I finally went to an orthopedic surgeon at Kaiser in 2015, he didn't recommend surgery. Thank goodness I knew about Andrew Stein through my mother's workman's comp. He recommended surgery for my left arm in 2015. I have permanent residual weakness in my left ring finger and pinky finger due to the earlier misdiagnoses, but thank goodness Dr. Stein corrected the Cubital Tunnel Syndrome before it could get any worse! I developed symptoms in my right arm in March of 2017. This time I didn't wait and already got the surgery in May of 2017 and I am well on the path to recovery. Due to not delaying surgery, I will regain full strength in my right arm and hand. He is so efficient and I trust his judgment more than other surgeons. Andrew Stein performed a sub muscular ulnar nerve transposition and flexor pronator tendon lengthening in both arms. This surgery is not as commonly done by other orthopedic surgeons, although it is the only surgery that definitively corrects the cubital tunnel syndrome. I give him my highest recommendation, and I am also a physician (a pediatrician) so I hope that my review will be helpful to you to choose Dr. Stein.
