Dr. Emrani completed his bachelor of science degree at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he was a member of the Biological Honors Society. Afterward, he attended the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) where he earned his medical degree and completed sub-internships in intensive care and cardiology, as well as a sub-internship in infectious disease at Cedar Sinai Medical Center. In addition, he completed an internship with the Veterans Affairs Administration and a cardiology fellowship at University of Southern California - Kaiser Permanente.

Dr. Emrani is committed to expanding his professional skills and knowledge through continuing education and active memberships in several medical societies, including the American Board of Cardiovascular Diseases and the American College of Cardiology, where he is a Fellow. Dr. Emrani is also a qualified medical evaluator, and he is certified in basic and advanced cardiac life support and licensed in x-ray and fluoroscopy diagnostic procedures. After serving patients in group and private practices for several years, Dr. Emrani joined LA Heart Specialists in 2000.
